Sound the Alarm! It’s Go Time!
Num 10:1-9; Ezek 33:1-7
Today more than ever we have to considered God’s will, we cannot afford to just sit idle, rather we must put the pedal to the metal and say it’s go time!
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the…

“The Prince and the Dragon – A Parable”
There was once a great and noble King whose land was terrorized by a wicked and crafty dragon. Like a massive bird of prey, the scaly beast delighted in ravaging villages with his fiery breath. Hapless victims ran from their burning homes, only to be snatched into the dragon’s jaws or talons. Those devoured instantly were deemed more fortunate than those carried back to the dragon’s lair to be devoured at his leisure.
The…

This morning, I was doing my morning devotion in the book of Proverbs chapter 20 as I try and follow everyday. I have done this for probably 2 yrs faithfully of reading a proverbs that matches the date. Ex: April 20th I read Proverbs 20. This is a good habit to establish if you wish to gain true godly wisdom in your life.
As I read in chapter 20, I found many verses today that stuck out as "wow" verses. But one in particular hit me. Read with me this one…

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, and whose leaf does not wither. - Psalms:1:3
Are we trees planted by the water? We all have seasons in our lives like trees. We have a spring like season when we are growing and learning. Summer season, when we are at our peak in full bloom. Ready to take on the world and all it throws at us. Autumn when we slow down, and start to fade. Then comes winter, the times when we are almost… Continue

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. - Proverbs 31:10, 27
Do we eat the bread of idleness? What do we do with our spare time, if we have any? What we do in private is like a mirror into our souls. As women, especially if we have have children, or jobs on top of that, have little to no spare time, but what we do with that time is vital to our… Continue

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. - Proverbs 31:10, 12.
Wow, what a statement! How many of us at one time or another have caused our husbands harm? I have often wondered why God made men and women so different if He wants bound together. Mentally, physically, and emotionally so different, that it takes constant work and consideration for a marriage to run smoothly. Like a… Continue

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than
rubies. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her
tongue. Proverbs 31:10, 26
Do we think before we speak? I have often said something that was totally intended one way and taken completely different. How often do we consider the power of our words? James 3:6-12 says:
"The tongue also is a
fire, a… Continue

This morning I am continuing my study on
Psalm chapter 1 and verse 3. The purpose of this study is based tightly
to the vision for my youth group this new year. Teenagers are so
wavering from day to day and in my heart I know that God has more for
them then this unstable lifestyle. God wants more for us than this. The psalmists here describes a stable man
who is in the word of God as a tree planted by streams of living water.
Read it now… Continue
